AUTO10-A | Autoverification of Clinical Laboratory Test Results, 1st Edition Preview Sample   This document provides a standard communication protocol for instrument system vendors, device manufacturers, and hospital administrators to allow remote connections to laboratory diagnostic devices. The remote connections can be used to monitor instruments' subsystems; collect diagnostics data for remote system troubleshooting; and collect data for electronic inventory management.   The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has evaluated and recognized this approved-level consensus standard for use in satisfying a regulatory requirement.   This document is no longer being reviewed as part of our consensus process.
